Introduction

Gecko is an AI agent workspace for thinking, creating, researching, and automating everyday work. Instead of juggling separate tools, you describe an outcome in plain language and Gecko turns it into a clear, step-by-step plan that you can review before anything runs.

Gecko is built for the Elysium community and for anyone who wants an assistant that explains what it is doing and why. It is currently a preview: the interface and chat are live, and more capabilities are being added in stages (see Roadmap).

Quick start

  1. Open the site and tap Get Started to enter the chat workspace.
  2. Type what you want in plain language, for example: "Summarize the key differences between these three tools."
  3. Read Gecko's reply or proposed plan. Ask follow-up questions to refine it.
  4. Use New chat in the sidebar to start a separate topic. Your chats are listed there for the current session.
  5. Open the Dashboard, Tools, and Settings tabs of the demo workspace to explore the rest of the interface.

No account is required in the preview. Use Create account only to see the demo sign-up flow.

Core concepts

Workspace
The home for all your work: chat, notes, plans, and settings.
Chat
A conversation with Gecko about one topic. Each chat keeps its own history while the page is open.
Plan
A short list of steps Gecko proposes before it acts, such as gather sources, compare, draft. You can edit it before approving.
Agent
The assistant that carries out an approved plan and reports what it did.
Model
The AI model that generates replies. The preview uses Google Gemini.

Prompting tips

  • State the outcome. Say what a good result looks like, not only the topic.
  • Give context. Audience, length, tone, and constraints improve the answer.
  • Ask for steps. "Show me a plan first" gives you something to edit.
  • Iterate. Follow up with "shorter", "more formal", or "add examples".
  • Verify important facts. AI can be wrong, so check anything that matters.

Gecko and Elysium

Gecko is created for the Elysium ecosystem and is announced through its community channel on X: @ElysiumGecko. In the current preview, Gecko works as an AI workspace. On-chain features such as wallet connection or reading blockchain data are not live yet and are listed under Roadmap as planned work. Nothing in this preview asks for your wallet or funds. Never share a seed phrase or private key with anyone, including Gecko.

Privacy and data

  • No accounts exist in the preview, and Gecko does not store your chats.
  • Messages you send are passed to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply.
  • Do not share passwords, seed phrases, private keys, or sensitive personal data in chat.
  • Full Privacy Policy and Terms will be published at launch. See the Privacy and Terms pages linked in the footer.

Troubleshooting

Gecko does not reply
The chat needs its backend (/api/chat) to be running. If you opened this page as a standalone file, replies will not work until it is hosted with the backend. Check your connection and try again.
The reply is cut off
Send "continue", or ask for a shorter answer.
My chats disappeared
Chats are not stored in the preview and reset when the page reloads.
The page looks wrong on my phone
Refresh the page and make sure your browser is up to date.
